OC Publish Refund Policy

At OC Publish, we strive to provide our clients with the highest quality services and ensure their satisfaction. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is necessary. Below is our refund policy, modeled after industry standards.


Non-Refundable Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total package cost is required to initiate any service. This deposit covers initial consultation, project planning, and administrative costs. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.


Service-Specific Refunds

Refunds for specific services are available under the following conditions:


Writing Services: Refunds are not available once writing services have commenced. If you cancel within 5 days after the initial consultation and before writing begins, a partial refund (excluding the deposit) may be considered.


Manuscript Review and Editing: If editing services have begun, no refund is available. If cancellation occurs before the start of the editing process, a partial refund (excluding the deposit) may be considered.


Cover Design and Interior Layout: If design work has started, no refund is available. If cancellation occurs before any design work begins, a partial refund (excluding the deposit) may be considered.


ISBN, Bar Code, and Copyright Registration: These services are non-refundable once the registration process has begun.


Print and Digital Publishing: If publishing services have started, no refund is available. If cancellation occurs before the publishing process begins, a partial refund (excluding the deposit) may be considered.


Audiobook Development: If audiobook production has begun, no refund is available. If cancellation occurs before the production starts, a partial refund (excluding the deposit) may be considered.


Complete Packages

For complete packages, the following refund policy applies:


Basic Complete Package: No refund is available once any part of the service included in the package has begun. If cancellation occurs before any services begin, a partial refund (excluding the deposit) may be considered.


Standard Complete Package: No refund is available once any part of the service included in the package has begun. If cancellation occurs before any services begin, a partial refund (excluding the deposit) may be considered.


Premium Complete Package: No refund is available once any part of the service included in the package has begun. If cancellation occurs before any services begin, a partial refund (excluding the deposit) may be considered.


Custom Complete Package: Refunds are determined based on the terms agreed upon during the initial consultation meeting.


Conditions for Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be considered if:

The client provides written notice of cancellation.

Services have not yet commenced or have not been fully rendered.

The request for refund is made within a reasonable time frame from the date of payment.


How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us in writing at email or call us at (123) 456-7890. Provide your project details, the reason for cancellation, and any relevant information. Our team will review your request and respond within 14 business days.


Dispute Resolution

If a refund request is disputed, we will work with you to resolve the issue amicably. If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute will be handled according to the terms outlined in your service agreement.
